103 TSP What is a Good Teacher? | Mindset Sets the Tone

What is a good teacher? What are the qualities and actions of someone that makes us call someone a good teacher? And these same qualities and actions would also apply to parents, since parents are also their children’s teachers.

This episode discusses the qualities of a good teacher or parent and continues the discussion of the fixed and growth mindsets and the impact that these mindsets may have on our students and children.

This episode is a continuation of a discussion sparked by an excellent book by Dr. Carol S. Dweck, called Mindset. This book engaged me, and I have referred often to it. I first listened to it as an audible book and enjoyed the presentation in that format, and I had to purchase a paperback copy so that I could read it again and highlight important points. I highly recommend this book for all parents and teachers.
