018 TSP Matching Moods

This episode of the Teach Suzuki podcast looks more closely at the melancholy personality style, as described by Florence Littauer in her personality plus books. In particular, this episode looks at the traits of a melancholy child from the parenting and teaching perspectives and offers suggestions about how to improve the parenting and teaching relationships.

The episode referenced two books. Here are links to those books. These are affiliate links, meaning that there would be no additional cost to you, but that if you use the links when you visit the website, you will benefit the podcast and blog. I would greatly appreciate it!

How to Behave and Why by Munroe Leaf: This book published in 1946 takes a lovely look at the reasons why we should behave politely.

Personality Plus for Parents: Understanding What Makes Your Child Tick by Florence Littauer: This book discusses in detail the various personality styles of children and how the parents’ personality styles impact on parenting issues.
